Should I buy this Bayliner?

I have the option of buying a 1985 Bayliner 3250 Conquest – I think his feet …. 32 but his project a boat – no is runnng now and the engine will be rebuilt and some changes should be sufficient to substanial eyes again appeal. It did not take a mechanic to view or anythignyet – but if anyone out there have knowledge of these boats – I would be interested for the tips. The guy wants 4900 for it – no trailer with it – as it is and claims with some work the boat can be very large. NADA value of said poorly State 11K – good value for 15 …. I think perhaps I can do it in 3500 .. What do you think? Any advice for me? Should I take or run?
